Koana: Web Banner by tiranaki Koana: Web Banner by tiranaki
Just me trying to advertise my shirts. I'm not very good at advertising, I am a graphic artist, not a advertiser/publicist after all so while I can build the ad, I don't really know what the right text would be.

Anyways, yeah. I'm so lost, I don't know what else to do to get people to buy my shirts.

Medium: Illustrator CS.

the style is definitely cool.

but, mind some tech crits? whats the size of the planned web banner? instead of showing all of the thumbnails in that space, maybe you should do one,..or create an animated gif for the thumbs. or have one themed banner for each shirt? and if it's going to be shrunken down, you have to take into consideration the small details, like her facial expression, which looks good when big, but web banners are usually small.

I dunno, do as you wish...i'm just giving you a critique that my professors would give me. They're always thinking about the what ifs when shrunken down or blown up.

i'm sorry if this was bad ....

:poke: not bad at all, the final web size is posted on my journal. I actually did the web size first and then blew it up to the size seen here. See, that's the good thing about Illustrator though, since they are not pixels the lines don't change no matter what the size. This version is just for show, because since the original is so small, I wanted to see a bigger one, I changed some things, I had to stretch the space where the text is, and stretch the text as well. I didn't just take this one and shrink it down, they are different dimensions. So, yep, no worries Arepi, I usually take those things into consideration.
