Sorrow en Otono

Description

Note: The title is Sorrow en Otoño, but deviantart does not allow foreign characters in the title.

... I don't really know what to say. There is no story to this, it's just a painting, it's not of someone, or somethingor anything specific for that matter. Truth is that I was watching "Hero" quite a lot, and my favorite scene is the one where Broken Sword and Moon fight in the Golden Forest, so that certainly inspired the yellow/red tones; I was also practicing my Chinise Brush Painting skills (which are not that great, but oh, well) and ended up doing this watercolor instead.

Just want to point out, and no offense meant by this, that this is not Japanese, and this is not a geisha (obviously for some of you, but, hey, some people are ignorant), in any case it's Chinese, since that's what inspired it (and it's not a kimono either, it's a robe). It's just me taking elements of a culture I love and making it my own.

Medium: watercolor (tubes/pans/pencils) on watercolor paper.
The seal and characters are just my signature.

Yeli I love this painting. I'm adding it to my favorites. I know that it was really hard for you to do but I really think that the result came out great.
